About the book

The order of reading the chapters is left for you but it is my suggested option that the topics are studied as arranged by the author, it may be rewarding as many of the chapters are managed in an evolutionary trend.

Keywords are being presented in bold type to emphasize important concepts and facts.

At the end of each chapter, thought-provoking questions or past examination questions are asked to test your knowledge of the chapter.

Even though, my target audience Is West African Senior Certificate Examinations (WASSCE), National Examinations Council (NECO). National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), General Certificate of Examinations (GCE), and Joint
Admission and Matriculation Board (J.A.M.B.) students it is my sound judgment that National Certificate of Education (N.C.E.) and University Students who are majoring in biology will find it extremely useful. Postgraduate students would also find some background information provided here is very rewarding.
I will appreciate suggestions and criticisms properly designed to improve the usefulness, quality and accuracy of this text from students, teachers, and other interested readers.
