Prokaryotic cell (e.g. bacteria cells, blue-green algae) difter from eukaryotic cells by having no nuclear membrane. In a prokaryotic cell, nuclear materials are not enclosed in the well defined nuclear membrane, unlike eukaryotic cells where nuclear materials are clearly separated from the cytoplasm by means of the nuclear membrane.
